Safety Bernard Pollard , has made a career of injuring the knees of Patriots players. While in the Kansas City Chiefs , he famously tore Tom Brady's ACL in the 2008 opening game. The next year while playing for the Houston Texans, he was responsible for WR Wes Welker's torn ACL and Rotator Cuff as well. Today, during the 2011 AFC Championship, while playing for his latest team, the Baltimore Ravens, he dragged TE Rob Gronkowski to the ground, while DELIBERATELY , twisting and kicking into the players knee. Gronkowski was walked off the field, showing what looks like signs of ANOTHER possible ACL injury to ANOTHER New England Patriot. Bernard Pollard's actions in 2008 forced the NFL to reevaluate how defenders can attack QBs. ( He lunged from the ground after being tackled, aiming directly for Brady's knees). This move has now been banned by the NFL, yet Bernard Pollard is STILL making a career of injuring the knees of Patriots players. This has NOT happened to any other offensive player from any of the other 31 teams he has played against. What will it take to ban this dirty player from the NFL for life?
