Tell YouTube to ban Afghan Child Traffiking (known as Bacha Bazi) videos, songs and clips which are posted by Pedophiles !
I am writing to voice my extreme concern about the pro Bacha Bazi videos and songs that are being posted on youtube by Pedophiles (please note : this does not includ any of documentaries which are for awareness raising purposes. Bacha bazi is a form of child sex trafficking prevalent in Afghanistan; these videos and songs which are about Bacha Bazi and show how little boys danc in front of 100 men, should be banned immediately. These videos can be used as marketing tools for child traffickers to sell their products and attract others to become pedophiles. This is an age old custom that has been going on among the rich and powerful men of the country: warlords, police chiefs and other people with power or influence. Although it is illegal, the authorities often look the other way when this disturbing tradition takes place, sometimes they are participants. Young boys, sometimes as young as 8 years of age, are targeted by wealthy patrons. These boys are usually from poor families, or orphans who are often unaware of what they may be asked to do. They are kept as sex slaves, forced to dress in women's clothing, and made to entertain men at parties. These children are often raped, abused, beaten (when they refuse to do a certain thing or don't do it properly) and sometimes murdered. Once they are lured into the lifestyle, it's practically impossible for them to leave, as they are too ashamed and/or afraid to go back to normal life. The local and federal authorities fail to punish the perpetrators and even when the odd arrest is made, a small bribe is usually sufficient for the charges to be dropped. This is a growing concern since these shameless men are fully aware of the fact that they can escape punishment provided they have money. YouTube should crack down on these videos, songs and clips which are promoting Bacha Bazi and ban them completely. They have a moral responsibility to ensure that this material celebrating child abuse is removed from their sites.
