Arif is a person who say Shia Islam is 80 %wrong if that is the case what is he doing in Shia religion and why has he not declared himself as non Shia this is just Bc he is a greedy person who wants Shia Khums which has been revoked since couple of years He is a false person

Totally against this deviated person, he has done innovation to his self and faith. A misguided person trying to take others along with him. Surely he is going to face the consequences.

This Bata Sheikh has no verifiable qualification from any Shia Hawza or indeed any University. He did not attain any qualifications at school ie GCSE’s or A levels. He was thrown out of P.hd prog by Birmingham University in UK after 7 yrs. Any question you put to him his answer is always Ayatollah Amini has certified me.

Absolutely agree that this man is highly dangerous and is misleading the youngsters and elders who worship the ground he walks on

Has Sheikh Arif actually said we should not do Taqleed? If so, I assume he has quoted Ayats from the Koran or Hadith to support that stand. Does anybody know if this is the case? Thanks

SO if you choose to use a pseudonym -then it's OK and justified. How convenient and utterly hypocritical! - it's just cowardice isn't it? As for civility: 1. There is nothing uncivil mentioned in my discussions. 2. Usually people trying to give lessons in civility, are the most uncivil themselves...something to ponder.

Mr Farhan I'ld rather be a monkey following a Mujtahid who has spent decades studying Islam than a Shaykh who has spent a couple of years in Hawza and thinks thinks they have the answer to Life, Universe and Everything!

Salamun Alaikum to All, How many of you have actually listened to Sheikh Arif? I mean his lectures other than the isolated one on Arbaeen walk? I have signed in with my Facebook so you will know who I am, and I am deeply stirred by his approaches towards theology at large. I have so far listened to 6 of his lectures and what he is saying is challenging our long held beliefs and therefore, to me, he is encouraging me to investigate things further. Arif Bata issued a divorce to my son without consulting him. My son, I and Majlis e Alluma tried to stop him divorcing without a procedure.

I have nothing against the marjas but can you ask them please to provide accounting for the money they received from khums. When we call ourselves the followers of Ali then accountability is of the foremost importance. After all the marjas and their institutions are not infallibles.

I'm confused - Who is this Farhan K? He keeps talking about people not using their full names, yet he uses Farhan K nas a User Name. Also he accuses of people using Bolywood Actors names, and yet when I do a Google Search of Farhan K, the first reult I get is: Farhan Khan is an Indian model and television actor.
