Aziz Sachedina has already been banned by Ayatullah Sistani, Perhaps the World Federation should make a case to Ayatullah Sistani about Sheik Arif the same way a case was made against Aziz Sachedina. This is the correct method for a resolution rather than emotional reactions. However, emotional reactions are good to make people aware to prevent others potentially being misguided. PS It is not a coincidence there is a financial and co-operative connection between Sheik Arif's institution in Birmingham and Aziz Sachedina's institution in Toronto, and hence many similarities in the MOD.

Farhan K, I am not going to use this forum because my postings, for reasons unknown, does not appear. Tell me, do you know the Indian actor Dilip Kumar? Was that his real name? Was he a coward?

Farhan K, you have made two assumptions: 1. The name Hapana Taka does not exist and it is not a true name. 2. All the names appearing in petition are real and not fictional. I know many support Sheikh Arif and for personal reason(s) do not wish to reveal their true names. To Hapana Taka: I actually agree with everything you are saying. My only point of disappointment is that so many of you so called 'supporters' of Shaykh Arif have stayed silent and hidden behind pseudonyms like yourself - 'Hapana Taka' is not your real name. If you believe in someone or something, then you should have the courage to make a stand openly in front of injustice. I understand the silence of his supporters to be a sign of 'sitting on the fence' and 'standing for nothing'. One day they will listen to him, the next day to the some other mullah who criticises him. Utter cowards - you should all stop attending his lectures, if you dont have the conviction to openly reveal your names and stand up for him.

If I am asked, who is the most learned Sheikh in the whole of UK, my answer would be Sheikh Arif Abdul Hussain. So why some have, without justification, tried to attack him? The answer lies in the following selected postings in support of him: 1. Quoting out of context is a dirty trick used by liars. Some people (including those who sit on a member) have issues with Sheikh Arif's approach to things because their minds are so closed, they cannot think abstractly and therefore are unable to think critically. 2. How can you take a few minutes of a lecture out of context and sprinkle it with your own comments based on your clearly biased and warped perception and claim to 'expose' a student of the Ahlel bayti path. If it is not self-evident to you as to what you are doing, then your inner faculties are truly dead. Imam Ali (as) says, "do not look at who is speaking, look at WHAT is being said." You take out of context what is being said [by Shaikh Arif] and you clearly have a personal bias with the speaker. You are an utter disgrace. It would be better if you came out from behind your niqab and had an honest discussion with the speak with the intention of sincerely learning something.  3. What Sheikh Arif said is nothing new. that is the fact. it may be new to you… 4. Please speak to him. Shaykh Arif understanding on Islam is different to the norm but that makes it more interesting. He is open to people's suggestions and it is better to clarify than writing in this way. 5. We’re quite fond of the lectures delivered by Sheikh Arif Abdulhussain. Most of them are delivered in English and deals with topics that would be [of] interest to anyone who’s even slightly religiously inclined, Muslim or not.
