He is undermining the significance andunity of this event. I believe he is still an Ismaili at heart

Sheikh Arif is definitely misleading & can influence the youths to the detriment of our aqidah .He should be removed .

The Ayatullahs have been watching Bata very closely for a while now making a mockery of the faith, coming out with his pseudo- fatwas to deliberately cause controversy, something he dearly lavishes lapping up all the attention. He was left with just enough loose rope and Subhanallah look at the beauty of Allah's religion; through a matter of patience and time he has truly tightened the noose around his own neck this time! His clever play of words cannot help him now; the arrogance of his scripted and pathetic follow up explanation video!!! Shame also on his die hard disciples who are ready to defend him even now; Subhannalah through the blessings of Hussein AS we can see which side your on now. Hussein AS is alive and still defends his grandfathers religion Subhanallah!! You disciples are you that brainwashed? If you have any sense of shame left in front of Bibi Zahra SA then abandon him now. Stop supporting this individual and inviting him to the centres to pollute minds or you are just the same.

I am ashamed to be part of a community where our members can come out with such vile comments regarding an individual. Irrespective of his view point, such comments coming from people who call themselves Shia of Ali is a disgrace to not just our religion but the entire mankind. We should all hang our heads in shame... If you do not like what he said, do not attend or listen to his lectures. There is no need for such comments. All of you who created this petition, shared this petition and commented vile comments underneath should be deeply ashamed of yourselves. There is never any excuse for the unwarranted slander and abuse on this page. On the day of judgement, you will be held accountable for every single insult, deathwish and name you have called Sheikh and evey single lie you have spread. Think before you spread that his title has been revoked; review evidence, give benefit of the doubt, review evidence again and then ask directly if still unsure. That is the manner of our AhlulBayt. Instead you shameful people are spreading something likely heard from your uncle's friend or via a half picture of a paper sent on whatsapp which you cannot translate. This is your evidence to make such bold claims? Be wary - your lies and slander will come back to you, so think before you speak. The irony of this being around an event designed to honour the AhlulBayt whilst you all act like the exact enemies they fought against is not lost on me, and if anything starts to support use of the word 'carnival.' It supports looking at alternative views and challenging modern day practices deeply rooted in culture and inaccurate or unverified Hadith. If it is the likes of yourselves and the above behaviour taking part in the Arbaeen walk, if that is what it has inspired in its participants, then carnival is too slight a word for it. Our AhlulBayt would be ashamed.

Grand Ayatullah Sayyid Sistani, May God protect him, revoked and annulled his ijaza for Khums usage that he had granted to Arif Bata and his organisation the Almahdi Institute, Birmingham UK. Furthermore, the following facts about Arif Bata should be borne in mind:

He took a chance to apologize and he creates another fiasco..saying people drink Unrine of Zuljanah....this guy has no idea about the walking from Najaf to Kerbala...no idea at all and I wish that he walks once in his lifetime...My Salaams to all the Zawars of Imam Hussein AS.

In carnivals no one gives u free food n shelter. This is the love for our imam and the eagerness to reach at his door step that makes each zawwar walk so many miles.

Such a man is a disgrace and should not be allowed to preach from the mosque
