This pseudo sheikh in his apology reiterates that walking between Najaf to Karbala is an innovation similiar to visting and praying to our Imam of our Time at Jamkarran.

No. Your close mindes responses and views are dividing the Shia community. Community does not mean only be allowed to express what is agreed with commonly, nor does it mean ostracizing someone for challenging modern day practices. We will get nowhere if we follow blindly as sheep.

How do you know he has? Who told you and confirmed this? Have you seen the evidence yourself? Because I have and it is poor quality and does not point that at all. Beware of following blindly like a sheep - it is that which destroys the righteous more than anything.

The apology adds further insult and is actually worse than the original ‘carnival’ statement.
It is not an apology as he uses ‘conditional sentences’ and then proceeds to explain that people out of devotion drink the urine of Zuljinah.

Our imams mostly went of foot fir haj to Mecca.
The world appreciates people who ride there bicycles around the world nobody has ever raised any negative thoughts.
To raise fund in most countries people run marathon for good cause.
Are these people wasting their time and/or trying to do RIYAH?

How sad that such an approach is taken when an opinion doesn't conform to your own. There are far better ways to address such concerns in order to unite a community. The letter is disgraceful and only highlights the writers lack of tolerance, empathy, education and ability to entertain a difference of opinion.
