Re Umm fatemah Have you ever heard of anyone giving up power or office voluntarily. If you ask they say we are secular office bearers guided by ulema. It is precisely these ranks of ulema that have been infiltrated. So the secular leaders endorse the ulemas and grant them pulpits and conferences etc and “share revenues”. In return the ulemas endorse the secular leaders. Its a gravy train all along - sorry biryani and samosas in the old school.

We are aware that WF and all those leaders be it Coej , Nasimco and the Jamat leaders as well are fully responsible for all those people who have been misguided because they didn't do anything (turned a blind eye ) till Now These are religious organisations that they are holding posts, if that duty is not full filled then These leaders should be made to resign

On this day of Arbaeen, let us resolve never again to give platform to this renegade Ismaili-Shia who has infiltrated our religion and institutions to propagate Wahabi doctrines.

We need to stop speakers who climb on pieces of wood claiming that a holy walk is a carnival. Indeed, if we don't do so, the destruction of our community will be followed after the births of such speakers. We need to eliminate this cancer right now!

I have never liked him or his lectures. When I found out that madressa was using his version of teaching I took my children out of madressa. I took matter to the president and was laughed at that I was wrong. Proof was shown yet he was allowed to carry on.

Say no to World Federation’s internal review of Arif Bata’s speeches. Ismamic Education Board of WF have known all this and much more for a very long time. For any investigation to be credible it mudt be led by an independent expert in Idlamic Law who is not alrady in receipt of gratuities from WF or any Khoja Jamats.

Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, is the 3rd explicitly and divinely appointed Imam of the Shi’a. Imamate is an issue which comes under Usul al-Din and as we all know Usul al-Din is not subject to anyone’s ijtihad. Arif Bata has no right to insult the belief (usual al-din) and practice (‘Amal such as our waking from Najaf to Karbala for Ziyarat of Imam Hussain) of the Shi’a. Actually by equating the practice of the Shi’a and calling it a carnival in other words a ‘party’ Arif has crossed the line. This his the start of Arif Bata’s downfall!

He should stop preaching

Arif Bata has been preaching sophistry for more than two decades from various Shi’a platforms and his preachings are on record. Most of the views of Arif Bata (if not all of them) on record are NOT in accord with the teachings of the Jafari School of thought, theology, doctrine and jurisprudence (madhhab Jafari). That is why his views are simply not acceptable for the Shi’a community because the criterion for the Shi’a community is the Jafari Madhhab. Therefore, only those views preached from a Shi’a minbar/imambargha/masjid -by any preacher- which reflect the teachings of the Jafari Madhhab are acceptable, and those views that do not reflect the teachings of the Madhhab are not acceptable for the Shi’a community. Why to say such things,then to say people have misunderstood ,this all things are done purposely by intention to divide shia community to weak it and away from our marjahs n taqlid.
