Please allow swimming pools in Baltimore to open. Surely this can be done safely and many of us need the exercise.

I’m a 70 year old overweight woman who is working very hard to lose weight so that I can alleviate an underlying condition—obesity—so that I have a better chance of fighting off the COVID virus should I become affected. I have lost 25 pounds by walking and doing videos daily. But my body is aching and needs a more gentle type of exercise. Please consider ALL of us and open the pools for humanitarian reasons. The management of Meadowbrook has been running a top-notch facility for many years and would never do anything that would put their members at risk. As a matter of fact, they could probably offer some possible helpful suggestions that would probably make this situation more tolerable.

Please consider opening the pools this summer at a smaller capacity instead of closing them completely. Thank you!
