Yes yes, open the pools! It’s so hot it’s impossible to have any enjoyable outdoor activities right now. But we can fix that by opening the pools! :)

Hello Mayor Young,
Please follow the Governor’s lead and open pools in the city for fitness lap swimming before July1st. We have followed ur stay at home orders & the numbers are decreasing & pools opening for fitness swimming does not seem to be an unreasonable ask - especially since so many other businesses have been goven the green light to open! Please!!!

Meadowbrook is ready and willing to open anytime. The staff is committed to enforcing social distancing regulations and puts the health and safety of their members first.
As the Governor has opened pools in MD to 50% capacity this past week there is no reason given the information and numbers that have come out that this establishment shouldn't be able to open immediately for the summer of 2020.

Swimming is the only means of exercise for many older adults. Continuing to oppress them by not allowing them to swim facilitates further harm. Unacceptable !
