As Gov. Hogan alluded, we as individuals can assess our risk factors, and decide if we are comfortable returning. Let’s open the pools!

I heartily agree; we City residents need to swim and get back into fitness routines inside the Meadowbrook gym as well.

I have a baltimore area law office and have trained at Meadowbrook for many years. During the summer, it has an outside pool, which is safer and from which many swimmers come and go without even using a locker room.

At least consider opening lap lane swimming.

Please open pools -- we understand there is risk, but for the holistic health of our children and families, please consider doing, even with limitations.

For facilities that can control their crowds, there is no reason pools should not open. Chlorine kills COVID! If outside gym classes can be held, why can't pools open?

Please open pools ASAP. Children and their families deserve a place to play this summer.

PLEASE LET CITY POOLS OPEN. Pools are essential to health and fitness, and lifeguards and swim teachers need to go back to work!
