Mentally disable people should not live on streets but be treated the same way as people with physical disabilities. Free evaluation is neccessary to determine their disability type.

I find myself in the same situation with my 33 year old daughter. Not drug (since marihuana is legal and still in debate), her mental health is not stable, she refused treatment and medication. 2 stints at the local hospital and each time, after about a week to 10 days, they let her out. No referrals, no follow up, no care plan.... :-(

I am a paranoid schizophrenic. I have been baker acted 6x. Once voluntarily.
Had this not been the case, my life would have continued down the various rabbit holes I created for myself. I have been 51-50, baker acted multiple times, bit I'm not dead and I haven't injured anyone.
Glory be to those who work in a psych ward.

My grandmother own 3 buildings . 2 out of the 3 are on foreclosure because she is not able to handle the buildings or herself but refuses to receive attention from doctors or family . Eventually she will lose all of her belonging and be left the street. If there was a way we can force her to get the treatment she needs we would. But as if right now there is no law that can help us help her . Please sign !!
