Bahamians Against BPL

It’s just too much...in addition to the bill being doubled during this time.

This is totally unacceptable for one of the most financially stable Caribbean countries.

I am tired of BEC/BPL taking advantage of the Bahamian people amd no one intervene; the pass and present leaders seem as if they turn a blind eye when it comes to this company treating the Bahamian people bad. It's about time we the citizens of the Bahamas take a stand against this injustice put on our backs by BPL.

I have lost business and appliances need not to run on too much but if this continues it may force a lot of small business to close down! This is unacceptable for the large amount of moneys we are forced to pay already

You know what's dangerous!? BPL cutting off power when we are under a hurricane warning. How am I to prepare myself and my home with no electricity! Shut down these resorts and hotels!!! The citizens of The Bahamas NEED POWER!

Needs to get their act together too much load sheeding

2 fridges, 1 freezer, 1 laptop dead because of this crap, ac's in my business are also acting funny so they need to be checked. I have a full home/business surge and on each device, no help with preventing damage.

As a good consumer of BPL or BEC and paying my bill on time every month, I'm extremely disappointed with the atrocious service or lack of generated power. As a Bahamian, I expect to receive proper service for my hard owned money. If I don"t pay my bill on time every month, I will be disconnected, even though the power is OFF and the load shedding continues every day. BPL still expects me to pay my bill. What's even more worst, my bill has increased extra-normally and VAT added to this vexing problem. I'm paying for a service from BPL and NOT receiving NO SERVICE with EXTREMELY HIGH BILLS. We are the laughing stock in the Caribbean, we are living Primitively because of BPL and all the Amenities I've worked extremely hard for like Air Condition, Washer, Dryer etc are now damaged and or not able to be used for its intended purpose..BPL, BEC and URCA are all ACCOUNTABLE for this GROSS ATROCITY and FAILURE to DELIVER, PROMPT, EFFICIENT SERVICE for MY MONEY. The IRONY of this DEBAR-CO is POOR SERVICE for EPIC BILLS, it is EVIDENT and MOST APPARENT that BPL, BEC and URCA has Bahamians for FOOLS, they LACK COMPASSION and GREEDY for MONEY. Whitney Heastie"s Salary is $300,000 annually, clearly he LACK COMPETENCIES and is TOTALLY INEPT on how to run a Power Station, we're paying for his INEPTNESS. He needs to be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY and HIRE the BEST QUALIFIED and MOST SUITABLE PERSON to OPERATE and MANAGE BPL or BEC. URCA is responsible for REGULATION but they needs to be REGULATED because clearly they are not doing their jobs. These people are getting paid to do NOTHING but still get a HUGE SALARY. I have never seen so many HIGH PAID, INCOMPETENT, INEPT NEGROS in my entire 52 years. If I were to display any form of INEPTNESS to do my jobs, I would be TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY without question. These leaders are SHAMELESS and DRY EYE, they LACK AMBITION. and TESTICLE FORTITUDE to do their jobs. They are a DISGRACE to the College Educated persons and LACKS COMPASSION.

Something need to be done we have been suffering for too long.
