Fire all involved parties. They may learn a lesson then as opposed to a few days suspended. If it were a parent feeding their child rotten meat, the cops would stick their noses in it and they would put them under the jail. They're lucky my children didn't get food poisoning!!!

Steve Starnes should be held responsible for this also. He is suppose to be taking care of our schools in Hawkins county school system. But this is Hawkins county and if you expect something good out of our school system, your not going to get it. The school system wasn't great when I was in school and I don't expect it to get any better. Because money talks in Hawkins county

I have 2 children in Hawkins Co. That were served this meat. This lady that allowed rhis action should be more than suspended for a few days. What's to say this won't happen again just to save costs? My child's life and and health is far more important than this woman maintaining this position she apparently has no compassion for.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most the food they have in schools for children isn't fit to eat! If those people are responisible for this they should be punish for it!

Dont cut corners on food and nutrition for our children.
At this time our children do not even have enough books in there classrooms. The teachers are not paid enough nor given enough money to run their classrooms so come on dont you think feeding our chidren old meat that is 6 years old is really cutting below what we as the tax payers are willing to put up with !!!
If those in charge cannot make simple decisions it is time to get someone that can !
