It's a shame that our kids only have a few minutes to practically swollow their food whole, muchless get served nasty food that could potentially have made them very ill.

I'm very ashamed of hawkins county! Had this been a parent who would've done this in their home and the school found out about it...that child would've been took away from that parent and charged with child endangerment and child neglect. Criminal charges on the parent! This is no different! 3 day suspension is not long enough! It's down right disgusting!

If we did what they did we would been forced. Out of our jobs.we don't feed ours dogs like that.. And u want to feed our kids.if they like it so good why didn't they just take it home and eat it thereself..

Pork is against God's health laws . This is Child abuse . feeding our kids pork that is rotten . the person or persons that did this should be charged with Child abuse on all accounts of how many ate this nasty rotten meat... The kids get truancy for missing school but being made to eat rotten food goes unpunished . Really?

I do not feel Mandy stood up and took accountability for her actions. 3 day suspension was a joke. I want to know why parents were not informed and had to find out about this on the evening news? Why didn't Mandy answer questions from the board herself?
