Backyard chickens should only be regulated to the number of them per lot size. But everyone regardless of lot size should be able to own at least 1.

I live in the town of burks falls and our bylaw is 3 hens no roosters I see no harm in a family wanting to have fresh eggs for their breakfast do you

It’s unfortunate that a petition has to be made for a 10 year old boy living in the described area away from people has to be a fight to keep his chickens. If someone made this a problem for this family for some bad reason, shame on you.
