I was looking at the old stack of papers from the kids backpacks just now and it really hit me how much information we are missing out on since the district made that sudden change. Some parents have been messaging me about how hard it is to track down programs like the scouting stuff or the nature center events because the communication just feels so disconnected now. I am working on putting together a formal request to show them how many of us actually miss having those physical reminders tucked away in the folders.

Ridiculous that we have to hunt for this info online now. Keep it simple and just put the papers in the bags like before. Miss knowing about the local camps and scouts.

BRING BACK THE FLYERS. My kid misses out on so much stuff because we arent on twenty different email lists. It was way easier when it came home in the folder.
