This backpack policy is ridiculous! Who ever made this rule should get fired!!!! We are students and students need backpacks! Do you expect us to carry everything we have? Cuz, I can't go from the one side of the school to the other in less than 4 minutes!!! This is stupid and I am not doing this new "policy"

This is a ridiculous rule growing up I've always had my backpack with me and all of my classes and it has help me be prepared for the class and ready to learn. Backpacks should be allowed it's unquestionable.

I can't believe they're not letting middle schoolers have backpacks. I went there and it was never a problem. So what's the point now? I couldn't imagine school without a backpack. Having to carry everything is absolutely ridiculous.

Backpacks were never an issue when I went to union. Why would you take those away knowing that students already come tardy for class. You're just asking for more!

I don't go to Union anymore, but I would like the student this year to have the same privileges I had in my eighth grade year. This is not okay. Especially since school supplies that need to be gathered may not all fit on ones desk or designated area. I sign this petition to take act against this policy.
