We need to protect the unborn infants from drug/alcohol abuse that is inflicted upon them as a result of their mother's addiction, and use of drugs during pregnancy. The mother must undoubtedly pay for the damage that she has caused to her unborn child. She must do this by serving time in prison.......Life is a precious gift, and the mothers that choose to feed their addictions during pregnancy should have to pay for the disability of their child, or the loss of life because of their addiction. If you agree, speak up for those precious babies, give them a voice. Together we can change the law, together taking baby steps!
I have been reading through the comments all morning and my heart just breaks for these little ones who never stood a chance. It is so hard to stay quiet while working on the next steps but I am drafting up a new proposal for the legal team and honestly I just hope they finally listen to us for once.

I honestly did not think this would gain so much momentum so quickly even though it feels like such a heavy topic to even start talking about. It really is wild to see so many people agreeing that there needs to be real consequences for these actions because these tiny lives deserve so much better than what is happening to them right now.

it breaks my heart to see what these poor babies go through before they are even born. something needs to be done about this now.

so many children start their lives with health issues because of choices their mothers made. these innocent lives matter more than addiction.
