As a grandmother who has small grandchildren, I say stop the violence. I am a baby boomer. As baby boomer's we have the time and the number's to fight the killing of innocent children and adults in this country. Since many of us were young in the 1960's we have risen up before against injustice and we have to do that again. Our numbers are only growing in this country. Many of us are retired and we have the time to say to congress and the president "Do your job" stop the violence. Again put back into law the "ban on assault weapons". Do not allow people to go to "gun shows" and walk out with guns. When people have mental health issues, find help for them and do not let them own or shoot or be in a home where guns are available. Do not let them own guns. Politicans have made promises to do something, including the president. Let them all know we will take them at their words, and we will not let them back down. It does not matter if you believe in a higher being or not, we are all in this fight. Please sign this, stand up, protest, march do whatever you can to stop the slaughter of the innocent.
