We the undersigned wish to express our concern at the amount of traffic and speed at which the traffic travels along the St. Athan/Gileston crossroads. We the undersigned wish this junction to be converted to a ROUNDABOUT AND NOT TRAFFIC LIGHTS as part of the upgrading of the surrounding roads for the forthcoming Defence Technical College and aerospace Business Park.

Updates

July 13, 2009

The traffic situation at this junction is getting worse by the day while the new business park plans move forward. I am gathering the signatures to present directly to the planning committee because they need to hear that we demand a roundabout instead of more lights. Contact your local councillor today and tell them the current plan puts every driver at risk.

The momentum behind this push proves the community will not settle for traffic lights at this junction. Post this link on your Facebook page today and email your local representative to demand the roundabout we deserve.

YES. traffic lights are just going to cause more queues and accidents. a roundabout keeps things moving.

that crossroads is a nightmare. it is only a matter of time before someone gets killed there. put the roundabout in before the traffic gets any worse.
