I use this road for work , 4 times a day. I have to leave work early every day , as if I don't I'm often late. The road needs to be wider or some kind of traffic control put on place

Having driven this road many times in a truck and tractors, it is a horrible road to navigate especially when the sun is shining, let alone when you get 2 lorries meet each other along here

Tourists and large lorry’s need to be using the lower road at ermington and Modbury not blocking that Cali A38 I’m a local resident work as a nurse and my days are getting li her due to sitting in up to an hour of traffic on that road

Instead of waisting thousands of pounds on a totally unnecessary road widening scheme at the sign of the owl, the moneys should have been spent on the above!

I have lived here all my life and this road as become so unbearable with constant traffic jams I have to go via Modbury to get to work in Bovey Tracey.
If nothing is done about this road we are reluctantly considering moving to a less busy area of the uk.

As Dion Johns says, the hedges are wide enough to shave a metre each side and still maintain the hedge. As traffic increase the problem will only get worse.

Very long delays especially in summer. Vehicles are all getting bigger and wider!

A metre is probably all we need, it could be done by shaving a small amount off the hedge width rather than removing the hedge.

Having worked in Kingsbridge for the last 13 years I know all too well what a nightmare this road can be. Widening would be a great improvement, especially in summer with all the seasonal traffic...

Couldn't agree more. I often travel this stretch and there have been many times where I have nearly been the victim of a head on collision.
