I use this road frequently and it’s in a very bad state. I loose count of the potholes. Something must be done to widen the said road to prevent a nasty or even fatal accident !

I live just off the main road on the rat run taken when the main road is blocked (often daily or more in holiday season). Mayhem comes nowhere close to describing the traffic chaos which ensues when cars meet each other on the single track road with nowhere to go.

This road was designed for 1920 horse and cart. Please will DCC upgrade this road by removing the narrowest sections. Our economy in the Kingsbridge area depends on this road.

It can be chaos especially in summer ,minimul amount of work widening these couple of narrow parts to make life so much easier!!

An alternative would be to ban lorries, caravans and camper vans. There are alternative routes.

We have family at Loddiswell and have personally had bad experience on the roads surrounding and to Kingsbridge.my son has an important job and has to work shifts that require him to use these roads at all hours of day and night.both cars have been damaged by other road users and they usually have two children in the cars.

Between the pinch points and the pot holes I'm amazed there aren't more accidents

I have travelled this way home after a night shift for a number of years and frequently get stuck here. Witnessed a scary road rage incident here due to stationary traffic one morning. Stuck for hours one morning behind a lorry when a removals van was heading for the A38 and had to get out of the car just to stay awake!

I use this road weekly off-peak and frequently come across hold-ups where large vehicles are involved. The junction at Kitterford Cross can also be hairy with drivers unfamiliar with the road: a mini-roundabout might help.

Please sort this road out to ease the inevitable congestion each time two lorries or farm vehicles meet, and when the tourists come down who aren’t used to reversing with caravans, or hugging the hedges, it just gets worse. Potholes are also a massive issue and the ‘patchwork crew’ do not do an adequate repair job.

Seriously needs doing ... we busy locals struggle and driving tractors etc and our lorries is becoming increasingly difficult and down right dangerous with summer traffic

I travel this road every day and at least once a week my journey is interrupted by HGV’s, Coaches, Caravans or just cars being unable to pass each other.

Totally agree with this. It's a vital road for Loddiswell and Kingsbridge.

The road is in desperate need of widening, the hold ups on it are getting worse and worse.

Agree this needs addressing.
