I drive every day on this road and it's a nightmare

The economic community need these improvements for growth across all sectors operating in the south hams, this is not an option but is vital it is completed with urgency.

Much needed. Jams all the time specially in the summer with caravans Lorries and tractors

Agricultural vehicles need to use this road without being hamstrung by holiday makers allergic to the hedges.

Yes , please do this to save Modbury, no it doesn’t need to fast just passable between in the pinch points.

I've been driving this road for the last 30 years , it is a constant problem, only last week following a small lorry we came to an abrupt stop due to an extremely large lorry coming the other way, very fortunately we were at the entrance of rare pasture so as no-one else seemed to know what to do I directed as many vehicles as possible into it to allow the oncoming lorry through, once traffic still coming through behind us had disappeared the diver could move off, then 1 by 1 I moved the vehicles out of reare pasture entrance and were able to proceed, however the traffic backing up in both directions caused more problems because of the small lorry in front of me . You only have to add recycling lorries, tractors, camper vans and caravans to the mix to see how well used this road is and how often the flow of traffic is affected several times a day , it is incredible that nothing has been done to alter parts of this route to allow a two way flow .

I avoid using this road as it’s so awful to negotiate during busy times.

This road needs widening to allow for the volume and size of traffic using it, it's a main road.

Terrible road. Definitely needs upgrading.

This road is becoming increasingly lethal. Non locals seem to have no conception that some roads are simply too narrow for two vehicles to pass.

I use this road for work and it’s vans and trades delivering food and goods and going to and from work that use it every minute from 5am to 10pm at night

This road needs to be widened to accommodate the lorries, caravans and farm traffic without the long delays! It is all very well putting signs up to divert the lorries through modbury but that just doesnt happen and is such a ridiculously long way round that none of the use it! Please finally do something about this, it is a nightmare!
