Sign this petition if: 1) You believe that the new Idaho Power proposed high voltage transmission line is a NW regional issue and not just a local one; 2) You feel that more time is needed to receive clear information about the proposed high voltage transmission line, possible technological alternatives, and all the complex short and long-term consequences; 3) You are willing to discuss "WHERE" to locate the powerline but you are yet to receive convincing arguments that explain the "NEED" and the benefits to our communities.

Updates

February 12, 2009

The scale of the response confirms that our concerns regarding the proposed high voltage line are shared by many across the region. This momentum signals a clear demand for greater transparency and a more rigorous evaluation of the project requirements.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. stop pushing this through without letting us have a real look at the alternatives. my property value is already tanking just from the rumors!

they just want to run this right thru our backyards without telling us why. we need real answers before they start digging up everything

total lack of transparency from the company. they act like we dont exist. slow down and talk to the people living here first.
