With high density condo building, the roads are an afterthought. 10 more condo buildings in front of Des cavaliers school bringing in estimated 1000 people, school is already over capacity! People park on Nancy Elliot and surrounding roads due to lack of parking at Rivermead Park n Ride, dangerous for pedestrians, cyclists and they are mainly kids trying to get to school. Add more parking to clear up the streets! It's chaos.

People are going to start moving away from Gatineau if something isn’t done soon. The city needs to consider the lost of revenue it will incur if changes aren’t made to the road infrastructure and people are forced to move closer to their jobs. I work in Ottawa and the traffic is only an issue on the Gatineau side. I always know that, as soon as I get to the Ottawa side, it’ll be smooth sailing the rest of the way. Do something please. We need changes to happen now. Not in 10 years.

The roads out of Aylmer need to accommodate the new residential developments, as well as the communities west (Pontiac) whose residents travel through Aylmer. I wonder how many people have lost their jobs due to being late as a result of the ridiculous traffic jams.

I don’t feel that any lane should be reserved. Some people don’t have the opportunity to carpool. Not sure why they should have to sit in a longer line because of it.
