Avista Utilities is abusing its power

I believe there is something unfair going on, theres no reason so many people have all thos issues with there bills

Signing for the gouging and over charging customers. I feel that we've been over charged

Avista jas been price gouging the customers for years since de-regulation and because of the monoply they have. There is not any competition or other choices for us and they take full advantage of that! Fire the CEO'S ass and jail him for customer theft

This happened to me a couple winters ago

Paying a power bill to live, should not be a struggle for families.

I have been so frustrated by the monopoly that avista has and will do whatever I can to stop these crooks

A Vista is a monopoly and us gouging it's customers .including myself

My ended my comfort level billing in october they told me i had a credit on my account due to the summer then in november after the storm my bill was almost 200. Ridiculously high. Im a single mother and the increase in my bill has me at 400 dollars on my account that i cannot afford ive been struggling ever since. I dont believe spokane residents should be suffering after losing so much with storm itself just to make up for the companies losses. Tricna cox

This problem is only a symptom of a much deeper disease. avista has been doing this crap for decades. And it is NOT all their fault. The American people are so completely cowed by the military industrial complex. We are lazy and complacent. This has brought us to the state the country is in now. WE are no longer a democracy, we are at best a corporatocracy, bordering on fascism. avista owns mcmorris Rodgers. one of the worst teabillys in the house. As I say these made up bills are a result of years of corruption and greed. Amnd our own laziness.

I full agree with this article, my rates have been significantly higher lately as well.

Our bill has double from last month with no changes in our power usage! This needs to end!
