The reason for the petition is to show the state of NJ and Essex County that they need to keep their word especially when lives are involved. 7 years ago my children witnessed their birth father stab me 13 times and leave me for dead and then took them as he ran. At the time my oldest son was 3 and my youngest was 11 mos. Now he is up for parole this year. The day continues to change and the most recent one is now for September 6, 2010. Keep in mind that the incident happened in 2002 and he wasn’t sentenced until January 2005, three years later. Which means that out of the 11years he was supposed to serve (which was combined with other charges and the attempted murder charge on me was only given 7years) he has only served 5. I am not playing judge at all. Here is the reason for the petition. This person received a deal that once served he would then be handed over to INS. However, he may not according to the state of NJ prosecutor’s office. I’m not asking for anything but for the state to keep their word (the final verdict). I pray that this person has learned a lesson. However, the truth is I don’t believe so. He has since lied to a church claiming to be a loved one and tried to have gifts sent to my then new home. How they got the address? Well, I was instructed by the state of NJ that if I want to change my children’s last name I needed to get his permission because regardless of the FINAL restraining order he has rights as a parent (even though its on file he did nothing as a parent yet try to traumatize my children permanently.) So that’s what I did and he pretended to never receive these papers to then turn around and abuse the system and lie to a church.
