Ava Craig has been denied from doing the pledge of allegiance at graduation. After 4 years of continuing the legacy of "go mustangs" it only seems right that she should sign off at graduation by saying the pledge of allegiance for the final time. Watching the comments pour in has been overwhelming because I know how much this moment meant to Ava after four years of hard work. I am currently working on a formal request to speak with the administration directly to explain why this tradition is so important to her.

Seeing this level of support for Ava reminds me why she deserves this final moment on the graduation stage. The momentum behind her cause is incredible and it proves that her four years of dedication meant as much to this school as they did to her.

Yes, absolutely. We have the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance at all of our graduations and we have 27 High Schools in our district.
As an Air Force member I’d love to see Ava represent her mom and school for one last time. She was in diapers when I served with her family overseas. Military kids are very special.
As a child that grew up with 2 parents serving in the military, Ava understands sacrifice and dedication to our country. Thank you to Ava for showing your patriotism!
The pledge should be said to honor those who have served past, present and future the United States of America . Don’t deprive this young woman the honor of reciting the pledge of allegiance at her/others graduation. Congratulations Ava! Thank you for standing up for your/our First Amendment right.
I am a former service member of the USAF and a current coordinator of American Telecommunications. I demand by the power given to me by the FCC and all associated departments that Ava be allowed, nay, requested to honor us all with the pledge of allegiance. I do not wish to escalate further, please consider my request. Thank you.
