Yes more track areas for practice would take it off the streets as well, at least some.

The first sentence should read;
The Snake River Region SCCA is asking the State of Idaho to work with us and allow us to rent the POST facility for highly organized auto cross events.
The current sentence appears to DEMAND......JMHO.
One advantage would be to friendly 'challenge' ISP to compete ALSO in the events. It could be VERY advantageous to them, in public relations and real world controlled precision driving.

This would be a great place to have a teen drving school. See the link streetsurvival.org if we could host something like this it may give us an opportunity to go further. If anyone is interested in pursuing this let's get together to create a plan.

A great venue that not only allows tax payers access and creates additional revenue stream for ISP as well as Meridian. A win-win-win.

The cops complain about us street racing. Well if we could have events here it could be supervised and street racing will slow down and the state could make money. I personally will stop racing on the street if I could race here.

This looks like a fantastic site and would present the opportunity for more driver education, recreation for people and their families and offset operating costs of the facility.
I hope to use this facility in the future.

It is a shame to see such a nice facility sit vacant on the weekends when it could be generating revenue. This would be a great resource for the racing community and bring in many out of state drivers, teams and spectators.

This would be a great opportunity for the growth of young drivers to gain a safe racing experience brought on by a vast group of dedicated drivers who have been continually growing a safe and educational racing environment for many years.

Our region is desperate for additional event sites! Venues like this one can help new and experienced drivers better understand the true limits of their vehicle, as well as provide a safe alternative for those who might drive dangerously on public roads.

I think that if we were able to use a facility that was designed to train the ISP. Not only would the state be able to rain in money from local events but the racers would be more than likely off the streets!

Guaranteed revenue from this facility.
