The PPP money was invaluable to us during the lockdown. We used the last of it last week. Now our biggest concern is properly applying for forgiveness. As a small company that received significantly less than $150,000 it would help our ongoing operations if we did not have to be distracted by the forgiveness process.

If nothing is done a large percentage of very small businesses that obtained will be unable to legally sell without waiting months for the government to figure out how to handle and start the forgiveness process.

Absolutely necessary to have a simple process for forgiveness of PPP loans of $150,000 and under.
The small business M&A market needs to keep moving and with over 4.5 million loans granted the volume of forgiveness application will overwhelm the SBA endangering the efficient processing of the applications. A threshold must be considered.
