As a small business owner, we received a paltry sum from the PPP, but have not yet been able to open back up to the public, henceforth, not able to hire back our workers. We are barely paying rent to keep from defaulting on our lease and will struggle to pay back the PPP since we cannot use >75% for payroll. This forgiveness at this low amount would be huge for our survival. Small, local businesses are suffering greatly and need all the help we can get.
