As a mom with 2 autistic children, please, PLEASE commit! It frightens me to see what my childrens lives will be like under the current situation when I am too old to take proper care of them.

We have to always remember those on the higher functioning end of the spectrum as well. Asperger's Syndrome tends to be more 'invisible' and although they also need various kinds of support, particularly employment support, they often go unnoticed on many levels.

With autism on the rise and no end in sight, cutting out or not offering support services is detrimental to the functioning of many who need this service! There are other government services out there for people who need them, but this is an ever-growing issue with a huge impact on society.
