This year for the first time in my life I couldn’t vote green because of the rampant misogyny. It needs to be addressed. Perhaps listen to women talking about how this is absolutely affecting our lives and our rights, instead of only hearing trans people and their allies, especially when they tell you women fighting the misogyny inherent in their movement is somehow “hateful bigotry”… I’m disappointed this party allowed itself to be captured and weaponised as a jackboot on women’s necks so easily. Humans cannot change sex. If the greens can’t stand up to anti-science bullies pushing this critical thought terminating ideology, how can we trust them to employ science, critical thought and integrity to stand up for our planet? Clean your house or lose all credibility and become what you once stood against.

Women and girl’s rights need to be defended by the Greens, not thrown over for the “feelings” of men.

I don't know that the Greens have ever regarded women as fully human. Before they developed their anti woman policies on gender identity ideology, porn, prostitution and surrogacy they also consistently ignored or dismissed the complaints of young women Party helpers who had been sexually assaulted by older, more senior Greens party officials. This is not a progressive party.

It is absolutely absurd to be a party of materialism and environmentalism ans then side against real, material women with delusional, toxic men.

I tried talking to poll booth volunteers about the effects of 'trans' and pro-prostitution policies on women. I was so conflicted about my vote. The Liberal volunteer was the only one who seemed to understand! This is an *impossible* policy position to be in.

Former Greens member here. I support womens' sex based rights, the protection of women and children and the rights of LGB people to reject gender ideology. G.I. is sexist, regressive and a danger to children. Sex matters in life and law and I will not participate in a cult-like ideology that stifles free speech and requires me to participate in a lie. Science denialism has no place in the Green Party.

When it comes to sex and gender, there is a diversity of opinion. The Greens’ policy must reflect this.

Free respectful conversation that sometimes shows differing opinions is a mark of a democratic society. the Green part has lost its way - I thought it was an environmental party

Equality and inclusion does not mean the extinguishment of womens rights for the benefit of trans rights. Females have specific needs based on their biology and it is discriminatory and erroneous to extinguish those rights on the pretence that gender identity and sex are the same thing.

I left The Greens when the renewal form asked for my 'gender', rather than my sex. If The Greens are science deniers on the matter of the fundamental immutability of sex - female and male - why would I trust them to tell the truth about anything else?

The Greens have made a huge mistake. In their haste to appease trans identifying males, they have denied sex based rights to women and have consequently lost or expelled many of their skilled, experienced women elders. Women have not been valued or supported in this process but have been singled out, accused of ‘transphobia’, questioned and expelled. When did it become transphobic to fight for women’s sex based rights? When did sex become a social construct? Our rights have always been and always will be, sex based. Take our biological definition away from us and we have no rights.

The Greens have become all about ideology rather than reality. Sex based rights of women must be protected and upheld. Humans cannot change sex. Men can never be women. There is nothing democratic about silencing women.

I used to be Greens member. I voted Green and volunteered for the party.
I let my membership lapse when I came to understand how incredibly misogynist the Greens policies are.

The Greens have a fine legacy in Australia which they are squandering with these autocratic actions. Stop, repent and observe freedom of speech and debate.
