In the context of the abhorrent attacks on women’s human rights in the USA with the banning of abortions and women’s autonomy over their own bodies it is more important than ever that no further incursions be tolerated into the identity of women. Linda Gale has every right to question the detail of transgender policy over this. That the Greens have chosen to stifle free speech from a woman in their party at this crossroads of history is indeed a dark and disturbing event. To vilify, attack and cancel one of their own, their newly elected state convenor via a campaign orchestrated by a social media lynch mob goes behind disturbing. They have in effect trashed the democratic rights of their membership….and appear to have morphed into a party ruled by social media and an outspoken senator, Janet Rice, who appears to have coerced all other elected MPs and senators to endorse her actions…..for fear themselves of also being cancelled?

The Greens used to be a fine party with ethical intentions. With the recent undemocratic moves made against Linda Gale, Anna Kerr, Nina Vallins and Rohan Leppert, it has ceased to be a party that I want to support. What a waste.

Greens have lost their way. Prostitution destroys women. Surrogacy breaks mother's hearts and psyches. We are a sex class, not a gender identity class.
