Request Labelling of Halal certified item and stop private enterprises to control the certification... Should be controled by Australian government only , no extra fee added to products ...

Halal is theft by deception. Not to mention tax evasion

Halal certification is a scam forced onto a majority by a minority.

I live in a country that embraces democracy except when it comes to food, I am forced to eat food I wish to avoid including that which is halal certified, this underhanded sneaky deceitful movement has taken away my democratic right of choice. What will be next? the clothes I wear?

This effects my human rights when there are no or very few alternatives, and I have unwittingly been buying halal against my will for many years now.

Religious reasons and the fact that there is no choice with little or hidden labeling.

I refuse to pay a tax to a religious group so that they can dedicate it to their God. You are creating a situation where you allow animal suffering, and dedicate to another religion. While my religion forbids me eating food dedicated to another god this tax forces me to break my own religious beliefs. So you are placing one religion over another, and that religious group is not assimilating into my country of birth. They wish to replace my rights with theirs. If this is their will, they should move to an Islamic nation . Keep my food Halal free! I also do not want to support a group who intimidate to have this tax paid and then use it to bring Sharia law into my nation. Keep my nation free of Halal.
