fully agree with this. clear and proper labelling is a must to be able to make an informed choice ad a consumer. if i feel i need to donate money to any religious organization i will do that buut i strongly object to this fraudulent way of obtaining some of my money.

No, No and No - we do NOT want Halal in Australia. If Muslims cannot assimilate and insist on Halal food they can pay for it, not the average Aussie who does not want to be forced into eating Halal food esp when this is not disclosed. We do NOT want to fund terrorism. We abhor the barbaric slaughter methods on live animals. Seriously, this government needs to get its act together and protect Australians from this aggressive culture.

Don't approve of ritually slaughtered products. Or any dogmatic religious beliefs.

I find it offensive to see so much of all household consumables and all other products are now halal certified when it it blatantly clear this is not a requirement of 98% of the Australian non Muslim Population. Also the fact that most of this products does not have clear labeling so consumers can make a clear choice. This to me is extremely deceptive.

as an Australian I resent having my choice taken away. I have had to shop carrying a list of non Halal products, change my butcher. There is a hidden agenda behind making everything Halal. The goverment needs to look after Australia and it's people before it is too late.

We consumers are not getting a voice in what is Halal Certified and what it not.. I am not racist at all but we as consumer's have to carry the cost of the spin off of the fees.. Of course it is passed onto the consumer which is unjust.
