I dont want to support Halal Certified. I want clear labeling so my hard earned dollars support Australian growers and producers that choose non halal certification.

This labeling will give people a choice. We will either buy or boycott those products that are allowable to us through our religion or concience. I don't understand why I have to unknowingly purchase products that have been blessed by a religion I don't follow or respect.

We should have all that is required for this to happen. We need the will and courage to act. Our current labelling standards are obscuring information rather than helping the public to be wise discerning buyers.

I want to be able to have a choice, especially when payment is being made for Halal Certification, I am not a Muslim, so I do not need Halalk certification on the products I buym especially when that product is naturally Halal. As an atheist I absolutely refuse to contribute to any religious organisation and I should be given all the information I need in order to be able to continue that way.

I'm against halal certification, I refuse to buy anything that has the certification, make aust businesses label clearly if they are halal so I won't buy them.

No religious tax should be made on food for any reason in our country. I should have the right to eat food without having it prayed for by a 'religion' I don't accept.
