what is the justification for this price hike? It will have a significant effect on the pet travel industry not only in the UK but worldwide. Added to which in the not too distant future we are faced with a single quarantine facility which will add further costs to the pet relocation excercise. Great if you happen to migrate to the Melbourne area!!

This level of increase in charges suggested will only have a negative effects on the pet transport industry and more importantly, these very high costs will prevent owners from moving their other important family member.

We are all aware that there are costs incurred with quarantine, but how can this steep rise in fees be justified? Having to pay additional costs to fly our pets to another state on top of these too? I'd rather have paid the increase and had the option to use the quarantine facilities in WA!

we are about to move to oz and our cat is partof our family I will be devastated if we have to leave her behind, it is already a great cost but I cant deal with the fact if I can't rehome her she may get put to sleep!

It is quite expensive already to arrange flight travel, all needed testing before hand then athe charge of quarantine which if increased in some cases will cost more than what we paid for our pets.

Australia may be a rabies-free state, but this shows lack of compassion, charging pet-owners exorbitant fee for a "must" quarantine period.

I hope daff reconsider, the cost already means heartbreak in the real sense of the word for many families who have to leave fur family in country of origin.

It is fantastic that it is down to 10 days but increasing the amount doesn't make sense. It is expensive enough.

The amount you want to charge is ridiculous, we bought our 2 beloved boys over but wouldn't have been able to if that was the fee, it was bad enough having to pay the amount you wanted for them when they did arrive. Our pets are important to us please don't do this.
