No more property tax increases in Austin! We simply cannot afford it.

A strong community is one that has affordable housing for all and high property taxes disallows many good people from owning property.

Cut the budget. Get rid of frills and extras. That's what I'm doing.

The City Council spends money like there is no end to the supply of dollars. How many millions have we spent on the homeless? And what good did it do? What good are those hotels/motels doing that cost millions. What a joke! All of this money should have been going into running the City, not wasted on those that could care less. Idiotic!

With the housing appraisals already up to the max and Project Connect rising on top of that, it is making affordability very difficult. I'm close to retirement and will have a fixed income soon. Continual increases in tax makes my homestead unaffordable.

Find ways to reduce spending before increasing taxes any further.

Also need to lower water bills. Another plan Alder learned from California to extort money from the residents.

I am saving all these outlined plans and will evaluate success and effectiveness. Meeting these goals will include community support and success in cutting back property taxes. The other goals are also very important in my opinion. Austin Texas Resident District 8

Reduce spending on non-core by 25% to start. Lop another 255 off in 2023.

Inflation is very high. Virtually everything that has a price is going up while individual incomes are not. We, the people, are losing ground financially every day. Do NOT raise property taxes ..... or any other taxes you have control over!

Inflation and considerable increases in amount of property taxes make it difficult for seniors such as myself to be able to continue to reside in my long time home.
