No more property tax increases in Austin! We simply cannot afford it.

We need leadership that better manages the budget, and residential property tax is one issue that must be addressed.

Property taxes are forcing people out of their homes. The city must become more efficient and effective with the billions they receive from taxes without further increases and damage to the citizens of Austin.

I have a house that went up this year almost as much as the house was appraised for last hear.

Affordability is critical to maintaining diversity and liveability. Affordability is powerfully affected and addressed via property taxes. Keep them reasonable!

In all fairness and equity to property taxpayers, the City of Austin should, voluntarily, submit to a third-party independent audit of the city's budget before considering a property tax increase. Taxing entity financial transparency begins with third-party independent financial audits. What's the down side?

Cost of living is out of control in this city. Start making immediate changes, like cut taxes, now.

My gosh! My property taxes have increased exponentially! I can't imagine Austinites can continue supporting this. You will drive more people out of Austin or onto the streets if they continue increasing.
