AU Students Call for Recommended Mask not Mandated Mask

To date the CDC can not provide any scientific research or studies that prove the efficacy of mask preventing human to human transmission. Please stop with the mask mandates.

Absurd that AU administration reinstated this mandate. After seeing the Instagram video explaining the various areas where the mask are required, it’s even more apparent the Admin is clueless. I assume Covid will only make a reappearance after move-in since all the social media showed no mask mandate. Parents, volunteers, and students all gathering in large groups with no fear of catching Covid.

College students are ADULTS and should be treated as such. They should be allowed to make their own decisions concerning their health. Let those who live in fear continue to wear a mask, but not punish those who choose to live in facts and actual science. This age group is not even at risk for hospitalization, let alone, death. This is according to the CDC’s own numbers! Proud of these students for standing up for their rights ❤️

I have 2 grandchildren attending your university this year and I’m very concerned that AU is mandating mandatory masks! It’s has been proven that masks do NOT protect anyone from getting the corona virus! Masks are filthy, social barriers that propagate unhealthy bacteria and fear! Show some courage! Trust God and let the students breathe free! Thank you.

Mask mandates are not based on scientific information and any organization (CDC) that constantly contradicts itself by releasing conflicting national information and guidelines that have been disproven over and over again should not be listened to or acknowledged.

Wearing a mask lowers oxygen levels because I went to doctor and had my oxygen level tested wearing a mask. My levels ranged from 95% to 89% depending on the masks. When oxygen saturation levels fall below 92% the pressure of the oxygen in your blood is too low to penetrate the walls of the blood cells. You have a nursing program at school and should know this.

Anderson University….How can you have a biology class at your school and still say wear a mask? This is not California!! This is one of the last states in the United States of America that stands for freedom. Men and women have given their lives for that freedom!! Mandating mask wearing is not freedom!! My child will NOT wear a mask! …From a God fearing, very concerned parent and freedom loving American!!

I can understand they don't want to seem to take either side so they decide to compromise and take the "middle route", but I know deep down most of the administration know this is not right! Pleasing people isn't the goal! Christians living in fear of man is not going to be something I support!
