I feel that the house would obstruct traffic and overlook private gardens.

Andy, your argument against the build is around parking on the pavement, impeded views around the corner and parked cars preventing access to properties in emergencies; all caused by the vehicles in the photo you provided by your household. Will ask Council to recommend painting double yellow lines around that bend, as this has been raised by several residents as a concern.

Which might I add leaves room for people too pass, if the bush was level with the edging it wouldn't be a problem, our car has never been a problem where it is for the last 30 odd years.

The cars which regularly park on the pavement belong to the authors household.

This extension would be very dangerous on the corner as it will impede the view for drivers who use this road .

TO all concerned. There are several points I wish to raise.
1. Planning was turned down two years ago, but this was not due to any danger on the bend. All documents pertaining to this are available on Teignbridge building website.
2. Visibility around the corner whilst driving is obscured by the 6 ft boundary hedge, you are currently unable to see over the hedge whilst sat in your car.
3. From previous application, Devon highways had no objection to the development, therefore there is no issue with parking or access. off road parking is provided to the new dwelling and two off road spaces to no 37 (there was none when we bought the house).
4. The proposal is in line with the current adjoining properties from all angles and will not stick out.

I'm Sorry, but you can not see past the cars that is parked on the pavement anyway, that to me is a danger as people can't use the pavement properly. I agree that it would be more difficult to see around the corner, but petition is a little bit silly, no offence. I can see your angry about this situation but wouldn't it be best to meet with the owner of 37 and discuss your issues face to face not via Facebook or other social media websites. Again I apologise, I am not on any side of this, I was just hoping you would listen to my opinion and take it in to consideration the pros and cons for this build.

This already a blind corner by extending the property this will cause more obstruction of viewing the road when leaving my property.

The village itself is already becoming overcrowded and local schools cannot cope. This would add even more pressure

I agree with others parking is bad and visibility is worse we don't need anymore houses down here what we need is a better access road

Gissons already dense enough with housing and cars. Corner plots were originally built as they are for good reason, and usually leave good vision for motorists for road safety reasons.

Already a dangerous corner, will be more dangerous with the building coming out, unable to see oncoming cars! Parking will increase coursing more hassle for residents!
