Seeing 500 people push back against these restrictive policies feels incredible. It validates what I have felt while trying to help friends abroad who are stuck with useless devices because of these arbitrary rules.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that I am not the only person stuck with a useless device that belongs to me. It feels incredible to know so many of you share this frustration and finally want a fair solution.

I just want to use my own phone with my local carrier. why is this so hard for you guys to fix? makes no sense to keep it locked if nobody is paying for your service anymore.
AT&T is just being greedy. the phone is paid off years ago. unlock it.
Living in europe with a phone that is just a paperweight because of this policy. never even had a contract with them and they wont help. such a joke.
FIX THIS PLS. bought phone overseas and att wont talk to me because im not a customer. it is my property now.
i bought a used iphone off ebay and now i cant even use it because its locked to att. this is ridiculous since the contract is long finished. just let us unlock them already.

I like att service but now i can not afford there service i purchased att phone thinking it will work with my sim card.owner had completed the contract and he can get new phone and sell his phone. att should help his coustomers who have completed there contract. thanks
