*As an ATRA member in the state of Ohio, a group of your peers seeks support for starting a new Chapter Affiliate in Ohio (OTRA/Ohio Therapeutic Recreation Association or ORTA/Ohio Recreation Therapy Association), per protocol from the ATRA Chapter Affiliate Council. The previous CDARTA (Cincinnati-Dayton Area Recreation Therapy Association) has folded and a new state chapter affiliate must be created from scratch. This will allow local opportunities to network and provide continuing education in the state of Ohio for recreation therapists through conferences/workshops.
*If you are interested in being a founding member (whether in a leadership role or as a general member), please sign this petition. In order for the petition to pass, 50% +1 ATRA members in the state of Ohio must sign, and there must be at least 15 members to start a chapter.
*If the required number of signatures are secured, you will be contacted regarding the next steps in this process (organizing a general membership meeting to establish a Board of Directors, Chapter By-Laws, Mission Statement, etc.).
