Having a privately owned strength/powerlifting gym at Kingsborough would be an incredible asset to the community. Of all the gyms I've belonged to around Australia, privately owned strength gyms have been the best. They keep their standards incredibly high in every sense. They're incredibly clean, well equiped, well staffed, and make sure their patrons behave appropriately in the community. Having a small customer base is also fantastic, because it means the patrons create a sense of community and support. Sometimes people feel intimidated by these venues due to unwarranted stereotypes, but when you attend one you see how incredibly welcoming they are to people of all ages and backgrounds. This is something that every suburb and town in Australia can benfit from.
