I started this because the pay scales felt wrong but I never imagined so many people felt the same way. Reading your messages has been eye opening and I am currently working on a way to organize these thoughts for the people who need to hear them.

I am honestly a bit stunned by the momentum this is gaining. This whole thing was just a thought I had on a whim and now it feels like so many of you are carrying the weight of it. None of this growth belongs to me because it is clearly your energy pushing this forward.

They don't produce anything of value for society. Just entertainment. The contracts are out of control.
TRULY DISGUSTING. MILLIONS FOR A BALL PLAYER BUT WE CANT FUND OUR SCHOOLS? fix the priorities already.
The price of tickets is way too high because of these salaries. Fans are getting punished.
Its insane what these guys get paid to play a game while teachers and nurses struggle to pay bills. enough is enough.
total greed. nobody should make that much money for running around on a field. use that cash for better things.

Completely agree. It makes me sick to see these players acting like they deserve to be the richest people on earth.
