Athens ISD Board of Trustees - Reconsider and Vote Down the $4,000,000 Press Box

Use that money for something more useful to the students. That’s absolutely ridiculous.

An absurd waste of money without informing the community.

I vote NO.. I am a AISD resident. This is an extremely unnecessary expense. There is way more things that AISD needs that they could spend the $4 Million on.

This is unnecessary and expensive. Please reconsider and maybe pay your educators better to focus on academic success rather than athletic performance. Less than 1% of high school athletes will go professional, whereas every student will become an adult who needs to be educated and prepared for life and the workforce. Use your money wisely and appropriately. The citizens of the community don't want to pay for this idiotic structure. I am an Athens ISD Resident.

Get a new press box yes. But 4 million dollars is extravagant and should be reconsidered unless you have everything else in ASD that you need which I hear isn’t the truth.
