Athens City School District Petition for Equity and Fiscal Responsibilty in Schools

Larger schools mean more programming and access for arts and specialized programs like ESL and students with EAPs.

This is a time of great opportunity to finally make this equity change in our district.

We are a district if strong educators and loving, supportive parents. It is time to create an equitable learning environment.

Love the idea of equity for all students; I always felt graded buildings were a wonderful idea.

Equality is so important for the kids in Athens County! This is a step in the right direction.

I support education equality for ALL children of the district. The district must come together before anything will ever change.

I support grade level buildings and equitable education for all children in our schools.

It's time to support ALL of our chilren in the Athens City Schools. Equity is essential.

Would like to see that all children have access to all resources in the district. Would also like to see grade level buildings.

Change is hard for this town, but it needs to happen. Our schools are segregated by SES and ability, and our district is going broke. We have to try something new!

All students need to be supported and I fully support grade level buildings. This will provide more opportunities and services for all students in the Athens City School District.

I believe that fiscal responsibility is essential. The opportunities to provide more services to children if campuses are combined makes a lot of sense. The idea of small neighborhood schools is nice - but the reality is that it is an unsutainable ideal.

This is our chance to do what's best for ALL of our children!

Equity for students and teachers should come first!!
