At a time when we're lauding the benefits of the great outdoors and encouraging people to be more active, this would be a retrograde step.

Seems a little greedy to charge for parking for such a resource . We should be encouraging outdoor activities walking and hiking .

I think we are taxed enough without taxing our leisure time.

Don't think it should be kept from people who have very little money. They need the park more if anything and we cant all afford to live near enough to walk there.

I agree with all 3 points raised in petition. I would also point out that many visitors and dog walkers are elderly and on limited incomes. If charges MUST be introduced , could it be a ystem where at least the first hour is free.

This will take the enjoyment of visiting a local park. We travel out of town to visit one regular basis and use the facilities to ensure money goes back into the community. Dont make thisba money making scheme, you will deter people from using them.

This is awful behaviour on whoever part this idea has come from. Its a place you should encourage people to come to and enjoy and keep fit at. Enough money is ploughed into all aspects of the government system via various forms if taxation. The up keep of these car oarksvis minimal. Already seen this at Marston Vale so don't go there anymore

I live in Flitwick and use the park 7 days a week to walk my dog I would be utterly devastated to have to pay charges! We have been let down by the government in this whole COVID affair with no income and the worry of loosing my home now you want to take away the only thing that has kept me sane !

The park is an essential outlet for people, more so now with COVID. There is no need for charging to park, you will drive users to use the local streets instead and they are packed to capacity.

This is totally unreasonable and will make the park inaccessible for many especially at a time when open spaces are so important
