Although I appreciate that parking is at a premium we already pay through council tax and this would hit people hard who have to drive to enjoy the park facilities

Keep green spaces free. Charging will just makes people park on the road and cause congestion and accidents

What a mean thoughtless idea, the park is a great place for families to go and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Why do councils slap charges in everything that’s fun? Surely it helps the health of our community to have somewhere to go and exercise without having to sign up at a gym!

Don’t make us pay for parking. We use the park and cricket club facilities and would think twice before going there, if we had to pay.

People visiting the park bring customers into Ampthill of whcioh many are family run independant businesses. To charge would take this away.

All people should be encouraged to visit & get some exercise for there health. If you charge then less will come which could impead on there mental health.

I am originally from Flitwick but have lived in many places. Ampthill Park has always been my playground and still is. When feeling down always drive there to lift my spirits. If charging to park goes ahead many cars will attempt to park elsewhere in wonderful Ampthill and clog up all the roads and cause traffic mayhem. DON'T DO THIS

As a mum of 2 disabled children this park is a godsend to us and only one of us work so I wouldn't be able to afford the parking in all honesty
